The delivery times are only indicative and can vary from a few days to three weeks.
A delivery time of 4 to 6 weeks is expected for the delivery of standard size rugs and carpets. Shipping costs apply for deliveries of standard size carpets in mainland France.
The risk of the goods sold is transferred to the buyer as soon as it is made available, according to his instructions, to the first transporter, the seller's factory or warehouse or as soon as it is dispatched by the transporter. Consequently, the seller cannot in any case be responsible for the deterioration or loss of the goods as well as for any damage caused to third parties.
No claim can be made for insufficient packaging, if the buyer has not expressly requested from the seller, before accepting the order and confirmed in it, packing conditions other than those which are usually practiced by the seller for normal conditions of transport. The quantity control of the packages must be carried out during the transfer of risks, except in the case of dispatch by post, the buyer then having to carry out the control upon receipt. Delivery times are indicative. In the event of a delay not resulting from the exclusive fact of the seller, the buyer may in no case cancel his order, refuse the goods or claim any compensation or price reduction. If you are absent during delivery, a delivery notice is left in your mailbox with the contact details of the carrier or post office. L'ATELIER CHRIS cannot be held responsible in the event that the delivery services cannot deliver a parcel in the absence of the recipient. The delivery services used generally make one to three passages in the event of absence and leave a notice of instance for each passage. It is up to the recipient to follow the instructions given on these transit advice notes in order to collect their order. In the event of the recipient's repeated absence, the packages will be returned and it will be up to the recipient to pay for the return costs and any additional costs, as well as the costs for resending the order.

Any complaint relating to an apparent defect or a defect in conformity with the order, detectable during a normal inspection, must be made no later than two (2) days from delivery. In any event, no claim can be taken into consideration after cutting, gluing or fitting the goods. Any complaint relating to any defect arising from a defect in material, manufacture or design, which cannot be detected within the framework of normal inspection, must be made within a maximum period of two (2) months from delivery. The seller's warranty relates only to defects which manifest themselves under normal conditions of use or those, where applicable, provided for in the seller's technical documentation. In addition, given the nature of the fibers, threads and dyes used, the color of the goods may not correspond exactly to the catalog or to the samples. Slight differences in color may also appear depending on the different manufacturing periods or between wallpapers and fabrics. Fabrics are not warranted against fading or about 7–8% residual shrinkage during laundering or dry cleaning.
Any complaint must indicate in writing and in a precise manner the nature of the defect found as well as the references and order date of the goods. The return of the goods is subject to the prior agreement of the management. Defective goods are returned at the buyer's expense and risk. The return must be made within 2 days of obtaining management approval. This warranty is limited to the replacement and reshipment of goods recognized as defective, to the exclusion of any other compensation of any kind whatsoever for the benefit of the buyer or third parties.
The responsibility of ATELIER CHRIS will be limited to the amount of the order and cannot be questioned for simple errors or omissions which could have subsisted despite all the precautions taken in the presentation of the products In case of difficulties in the application of this contract, the buyer has the possibility, before any legal action, to seek an amicable solution. It is recalled that the search for an amicable solution does not interrupt the "short time" of the legal guarantee, nor the duration of the contractual guarantee. Complaints or disputes will always be received with attentive benevolence, good faith is always presumed in those who take the trouble to explain the situations. In the event of a dispute, the customer will first contact the sales department to obtain an amicable solution.
No returns will be accepted, credit note issued, without the prior agreement of the sales department. We kindly ask you to attach all correspondence and the reasons justifying this return.
The reimbursement of an order error will be devalued by 20% on the value of the product, the shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
Returns of goods returned in perfect condition will be accepted within 7 days of delivery.
Force majeure
The seller will have no responsibility towards the customer if the performance of his obligations towards the latter has been prevented, hindered or delayed by a case of force majeure or any event outside the control of the seller in particular in the event of riots, civil unrest, war, rebellion, state of emergency, strikes, lockouts or other social conflicts; destruction or damage due to natural elements, floods, fires, explosions or machinery breakdown; local or national authorities' decision; labor shortage.
Applicable law
All our sales are subject to French law and all related disputes will be the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
The applicable prices will be those in force when the seller accepts the order. The prices are defined in Euros, including VAT and excluding delivery costs.

Payment can be made either by bank card in a secure PAYPAL environment, or by check to be made payable to: SARL ATELIER CHRIS.
Your bank card number will be recorded on PAYPAL servers, your payment will be made directly from bank to bank in a secure environment and not on our site.
The order validated by the customer will be considered effective only when the bank payment centers concerned have given their agreement. If the said banks refuse, the order will be automatically canceled. Furthermore, ATELIER CHRIS reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute.

Some of our products are seasonal and certain references are not renewed after stocks are exhausted.
The widths and connections of the drawings are approximate. For the purpose of continuous improvement, we reserve the right to change our specifications without notice. The quality of our fabrics and their fire resistance is tested. Test results are available upon request. Please refer to the recommended maintenance recommendations. The fabrics are not guaranteed against possible shrinkage or discoloration due to washing or contact with a liquid. A shrinkage of up to 7 to 8% can be observed after washing in accordance with the maintenance recommendations. The dimensional stability of fabrics can be variable depending on climates or humid environments. It is inherent in the composition of the fabric. This is not a defect in the fabric and cannot be a reason for complaint. All merchandise must be inspected and checked before cutting. No claim or return will be accepted if the fabric has been cut.
Before laying, please check that all the rolls have the same bath number and that your installer has read the attached laying instructions. We accept no responsibility for any defects that were visible before installation. Returns from 2 or more unwrapped and undamaged rolls must be accepted by our sales department.
Color compliance / Light fastness
We cannot guarantee exact color compliance between samples, or between fabrics and wallpapers. If the color coordinate is important, we recommend that you request a tirelle on piece (service not available for wallpaper) or send a reference sample with the order. We do not guarantee our fabrics and wallpapers against fading.
Please refer to the Fire Codes indicated for each fabric and the list of symbols specified. Fire test results are available on request from our sales department. If additional treatments, coating or any other treatment, are necessary, please contact our sales department (before ordering) who will confirm the prices and deadlines in writing. We cannot be held responsible for any changes that may appear as a result of fire or other treatment.
Please note that fire treatments can alter the finish, feel or colors of the fabric. Anti-stain treatments can be applied to most fabrics.
Products not tracked or being discontinued
References that no longer appear on our site are no longer available. In case of purchase of a recently deleted product, a refund of the product concerned will be applied.
Prints or Special Finishes
Followed or not followed drawings can be printed on special order on supports, in colors or with different finishes subject to minimum quantities or other conditions. All information is available upon request.
It is compulsory to provide the personal information collected for distance selling, this information being essential for the processing and delivery of orders, the preparation of invoices and warranty contracts. The defect of information involves the non validation of the order.
